ENGLISH

As a bisexual and neurodivergent artist born in the 1980s, I have long struggled with concepts of identity and belonging. This is why creative work is driven by the urge to embrace non-conformity and authenticity as a way of connection and to explore the chaotic nature of life through the lens of otherness. Challenging limits is my love language: I switch between genre and literary writing, English and German and between different modes of expression.

In den 80ern als bisexuelle und neurodivergente Frau geboren, habe ich lange mit klassischen Konzepten von Identität und Zugehörigkeit kämpfen müssen. Heute ist meine kreative Arbeit deshalb geprägt von dem Wunsch, Nonkonformität und Authenzität als Möglichkeit zwischenmenschlicher Verbindung zu zeigen. Grenzen herausfordern ist meine Liebeserklärung: deshalb wechsle ich zwischen Genre und Literatur, Deutsch und Englisch, sowie unterschiedlichste Ausdrucksformen.
